As a driver, you know how powerful word of mouth can be. Drivers talk, and that’s how many people get their information on just about every trucking company out there.
Well, here’s a great way to take advantage of that and earn a little extra money!
The full amount of the $1,000 Driver Referral Bonus will be paid out in two payments. The first $250 is paid out when your referral takes his/her first dispatch after orientation. The final $750 is paid after your referral completes 90 days of employment. There is no limit on how many drivers you can refer!
In order to be eligible, your referral must have your name and truck number listed on his/her paperwork with a recruiter before orientation is scheduled. Both drivers must be driving for Celadon at the time of the referral and at the time payment is due. Rehires are not eligible.
The improvement to our referral program is just one more step towards us getting back to basics and maintaining our “drivers first” mentality. Celadon CEO Paul Svindland highlighted driver compensation as one of our major goals moving forward.
“We need to make the drivers happy,” Svindland said. “Make sure we’re paying them well, and make sure we’re feeding them with freight and with loads to ensure that they keep busy so that they can put more money in their pockets.”
